Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation
- Our "gold standard" evaluation, designed to provide an overall picture of an individual's neurocognitive functioning, identify strengths and weaknesses, provide diagnostic clarification, and give recommendations as to how to remedy identified problems.
- Includes neuropsychological assessment, educational/academic assessment, and emotional assessment (MMPI) when appropriate.
- Child and adolescent appointments are conducted in two separate sessions lasting between three to five hours each.
- Adult appointments (ages 19+) are conducted in one session lasting up to six hours.
Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)
- Typically requested by parents or guardians when they disagree with the results or conclusions of a school district's evaluation of their child.
- The purpose of an IEE is to provide an unbiased, external perspective on a child's educational needs, learning disabilities, or other challenges that may impact their ability to succeed in school.
- IEEs are funded by public school districts.
- A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation is selected in most cases.
Medical-Only Neuropsychological Evaluation
